On Thursday, April 10th, 2008, the Sigma Beta Iota colony at the University of California, Irvine was notified by the Delta Sigma Pi Central Office of the acceptance of their petition for a chapter charter. On May 31st, 2008, the Sigma Beta Iota colony will be installed as the Pi Sigma chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.
